Elaine Ryzak Fraser's practice began in 1984 where she represented clients who were involved in family law matters consisting of divorce, custody, support and property issues as well as clients involved in litigation as a result of injuries sustained in an accident. Ms. Fraser began her collaborative training in early 2002 and has been an active member in Collaborative Practice of San Mateo County nearly since its inception where she serves as a member of the Public Education Committee. Along with being a member of Collaborative Practice of San Mateo County, she serves on the San Mateo County Appropriate Dispute Resolution MAP Oversight Committee, the Judicial Arbitration Panel and Advisory Committee, the Civil and Probate Advisory Committee and the Family Law Advisory Committee for San Mateo County Superior Court. She is currently the president elect of the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association. She also serves as a Judicial Arbitrator for San Mateo County Superior Court. Ms Fraser has undergone mediation training as well as continuous collaborative law training. Ms. Fraser received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1984, after graduating cum laude from the California State University at Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a secondary education teaching credentials where she then went on to be a high school teacher. Ms. Fraser studied in the graduate program at San Francisco State University in the area of Psychology.
